Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera. I went to their house outside Mexico City (I think it was around 1965) - it was filled with Rivera's giant paper mache human/animal figures brightly painted. At the time of my visit, Kahlo was not yet recognized as a great artist in her own right.:
